Abstract:
To provide a design method of a caisson type pile in which a conventional design model is usable also in a caisson type pile reinforced by an anchor.SOLUTION: There is provided a design method of a caisson type pile having an anchor provided therearound. The design method includes the steps of: determining a virtual peripheral ground having such physical properties as to withstand predetermined earthquake force when it is assumed that there is no anchor in a depth level provided with the anchor on the basis of a design model (step S1) in which the caisson type pile and a peripheral ground of the caisson type pile are modeled (step S2); determining specifications of the anchor so that an earthquake time horizontal displacement of the caisson type pile provided with the anchor is smaller than an earthquake time horizontal displacement of the caisson type pile which is not provided with the anchor and is arranged with the virtual peripheral ground, in the depth level (step S7); and taking the virtual peripheral ground in the design model, and designing the caisson type pile by the design model (step S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
