To provide a design system of a lighting system of high designing flexibility in which a user can specify freely not only a color of an illumination light but also quality feeling and a design of the device.
This is the design system of the lighting system having a light emitting diode, a fluorescent material excited by light from the light emitting diode, and a cover part to transmit the illumination light containing the fluorescent light emitted from the fluorescent material, and has a server 1 and a client terminal 2 which is connected capable of intercommunication with server via a network 3. The server 1 presents a screen for design in which at least the color of the illumination light, the quality feeling expressed by a surface state of the cover part, and a shape and a size of a case of the lighting system can be specified to the client terminal 2, and design information necessary for manufacturing the lighting system is produced from the information which the user specifies on the presented screen for the design.
