Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a designing method for a vehicle surface panel, by which a frictional resistance reduction effect can be obtained.SOLUTION: A designing method for a vehicle surface panel comprises: the step of assuming a vehicle speed at which frictional resistance is decreased and a vehicle surface panel 1, and determining a propagation velocity Uc for an eddy degree-entropy wave C that is propagated in the vehicle surface panel 1 at the vehicle speed V; and the step of selecting at least one of the thickness h or material for the vehicle surface panel such that the flexure wave of the vehicle surface panel 1 produces a coincidence effect within a frequency range where a frictional resistance reduction has been confirmed with respect to the eddy-entropy wave C for which the propagation velocity Uc has been determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
