To provide a desk device with upper shelf capable of adjusting the vertical position of the shelf plate of an upper shelf in a wide range and optimally corresponding to the height of a top plate, thereby improving its handleability.
The lower ends of left and right side face plates 11 and a rear surface plate 12 in the upper shelf 2 are mounted on the upper ends of left and right side legs 4 and a back plate 5 in a desk body 1 to connect the upper shelf 2 onto the desk body 1. Also, a plurality of support holes 20 capable of attaching a support means for supporting the side end part of the shelf plate 18 are lined at intervals in the vertical direction on the inner side faces of the left and right side legs 4 and the side face plates 11, and the support means is selectively attached to the plurality of upper and lower support holes 20. Thus, the vertical position of the shelf plate 18 is changed stepwise between the upper shelf 2 and the desk body 1.
