Title:
DESK LAMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015015099
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desk lamp which enables efficient heat radiation by a low-cost and simple structure.SOLUTION: A desk lamp 10A includes a pedestal part 20 which can be placed on a placement surface 12 and an arm part 30 which is supported by the pedestal part 20. The arm part 30 comprises an upper cover 32 and a lower cover 33 which can be split in the directions separating from and approaching to the placement surface 12, where a tip end part is separated from the placement surface 12 farther than a base end part. The arm part 30 houses a metal plate-like frame 34 including a first portion 341 which is sandwiched between the upper cover 32 and the lower cover 33 and a second portion 342 which is connected to the first portion 341 and is arranged on the side away from the pedestal part 20. A semiconductor light emitting element 41 which emits light toward the placement surface 12 is supported by the second portion 342. The heat radiated from the semiconductor light emitting element 41 is thus transferred to the metal plate-like frame 34 to be heat-radiated, thereby enabling efficient heat radiation by a low-cost and simple structure.
