To provide a desk shelf on study desk which has an improved external appearance and a large storage space by disposing bookends or shelf board in the internal space formed by side boards and a back board so that the side boards can be rearranged to easily change the use conditions of the desk shelf by making the right and the left changeable in assembling, while eliminating an overlap of board materials at the central part.

In the desk shelf wherein a bookstand 6 and a shelf board 7 are detachably mounted within the internal space 16 of a shelf body formed by both side boards 8 and a back board 9, the bookstand 6 has a back side board 18 whose lower edge 18A is opened at least at the upper portion of the bookstand 6 between both side boards 17 and 17. A single or a plurality of receivers 19 are releasably provided on the inner surface containing at least the back board corresponding to the space for mounting the bookstand and one of the side boards, without providing a partition board at the central portion of the back board of the shelf body to engage the lower edge of the back side board of the bookstand by means of the receivers mounted on the back board.
