To propose a desk system which permits a layout to be freely worked out, an effective use to be made of a floor area, and has high utility.
The desk system D has a standardized partition 1 erected on a floor, a U-shaped top plate 2 detachably fixed to the partition 1, and at least one leg material 3 supporting the top plate 2 erected on the floor. The partition 1 is composed of at least a main panel 10 and a subsidiary panel 11 joined to the main panel 10 at right angles thereto. The two top plates 2 are arranged as a pair in a space formed of the main panel 10 and the subsidiary panel 11. Of the sides of the top plate 2, at least one side forms a changeable sitting space by being fixed to a prescribed position of either of the main panel 10 or the subsidiary panel 11.
