A desk with a shelf 1 includes: a desk 2 having a top plate 21 and legs 22 and 23 retaining the top plate 21 from both sides thereof; and a shelf 3 that includes a plurality of shelf boards 31, 32, and 33 and can be mounted on the top of the desk 2. The desk 2 has a length in the width direction approximately the same as that of the shelf 3. In the desk with a shelf 1, the shelf boards 31 and 33, which are detachably attached to the shelf 3, can be held between the legs 22 and 23 of the desk 2. The shelf boards 31 and 33 can be detached from the shelf 3, and attached to the legs 22 and 23 of the desk 2 using attachment holes H3 provided on the inward surfaces of the legs 22 and 23.
