Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structurally improve the strength by supporting a load by a join face between a plurality of pipe members while facilitating the mutual positioning of the pipe members in the assembling of a desk in a type so arranged to support a top plate with a support body built by linking the plurality of the pipe members.
SOLUTION: A link mechanism 6 for interlinking pipe members 11 and 21 includes a clamping means 7 for developing a clamping force in a required direction by a clamping operation and a direction-changing means 8 for converting the clamping force developed by the clamping means 7 into a force in a direction to put the pipe members 11 and 21 closely together. The pipe members 11 and 21 are interlined being pressed closely on a mutual joint face thereof.
