Title:
DESKTOP BOOKREST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006081881
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve problems that when studying stiff shoulders increase also among the children of today caused by scooping over a desk and holding their heavy heads with their necks for a long period of time and moreover lowering them to carefully look at books or dictionaries put at their left side and held down with their left fingertips, there are so many necessary articles on the desk that they are hard to be put in order, and in addition, there is a demand for a lovely heart-relieving item on the desk.

The users are prevented from stiff shoulders by turning up their heads to look at a book held upright before their eyes, thus moving their heads vertically instead of scooping over the desk and moving their head laterally, and employing a rubber tool instead of fingers for pointing. Since the bookrest serves as a storage box for necessaries at its lower part and as a bookrest at its upper part, necessaries can be stored therein three-dimensionally to enlarge the desk space. When the bookrest is lovely in form and made of wood, it further calms users' minds, and when the bookrest is turnable on a turntable, it relieves user's hearts.
