To reduce a size, and to improve transportability and operability, in a desktop cutter whose disc saw can move in a direction along the side face of a disc saw blade.
The desktop cutter has a support member (8) for swingingly supporting the disc saw, a holder (5) capable of moving on the side face of the disc saw blade so as to be inclinable from a vertical position with respect to the upper face of a base, and a guide cover (7) extending at the side of the base from the holder and positioned at the side face of the disc saw blade, and can slide the support member along the guide cover. The desktop cutter also comprises: a first fixing means (10) which can fix the support member in a position above the base; a second fixing means which fixes the swing of the disc saw in a state that the disc saw blade is swung toward the lowest part; a handle (26) having a switch at the disc saw; and a sub-handle (36).
