Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop cutter, smoothly movable on a movable base, while stably supporting the movable base movable to a base and separating from an installation surface in cutting work.SOLUTION: A desktop cutter 10 comprises a cutting part 13 having a cutting blade 16 driven by a motor, a base 21 arrangeable on an installation surface F, a movable base 22 having a lower part movable to the base and separating from the installation surface and placing a processing member on a placing surface, a support part 12 for rockably supporting the cutting part 16 to the base 21 in the direction for approaching-separating the cutting blade 16 to the placing surface, a set screw 41 capable of contacting with the installation surface by extending from the movable base and a reduction part 50 for reducing moving resistance of the set screw 41 to the installation surface when the movable base moves to the base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
