Abstract:
PURPOSE: To completely seal a 3-point connecting part of a chain chamber cover part, cylinder block part and a cylinder head part, in a cylinder gasket for an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: In a metal gasket 10 of a cylinder head for an engine wherein a cylinder block and a chain case are constituted as a separate unit, an opening part 114 is formed in a 3-point connecting position between itself and the cylinder head, on upper surfaces of a chain chamber cover part 52 and a cylinder block part 51, and also providing a compensating plate in the opening part 14.
