To provide desulfurization equipment wherein the desulfurizer is made compact, lower in the cost and longer in the life, and to provide a regeneration method of an alumina catalyst which can regenerate the alumina catalyst at a low cost and simply.

The desulfurization equipment is equipped with an alumina catalyst 6 that decomposes carbonyl sulfide contained in a fuel gas and a water supplying apparatus 4 that supplies water to the alumina catalyst 6.
