Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desuperheater stably used for a long period, wherein a spray nozzle setting metal fitting is simply and quickly installed in a prescribed position, abrasion damage formed in an adopted component is eliminated, a source of unnecessary vibration is killed, in the desuperheater for use in reducing the temperature of a steam flow in a superheater or a reheater.
SOLUTION: The spray nozzle setting metal fitting fixed to the tip of the spray nozzle for restricting the spray nozzle and setting it in a prescribed position is connected to a support tube mount via a support ring so that a clearance formed toward a member joined with its internal circumference or its outer circumference is easily adjusted by slightly inclining the ring. This constitution is utilized for facilitating the adjustment of the clearance formed in a joint part between the outer circumferential side of the support ring and the support tube mount or the joint part between the internal circumferential side of the support ring and the spray nozzle so as to facilitate the work for fitting the spray nozzle in the prescribed position.
