Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cation polymer fixative material detectable under either ultra-violet light or near IR rays, an ink-jet print method and a method for detecting the cation polymer fixative material on the medium printed with an ink-jet.
SOLUTION: The cation polymer fixative contains a cation polymer and at least one marker composition which is soluble in the fixative material and detectable under either ultra-violet light or near IR rays. The fixative material is used for the ink-jet print method and also the method for detecting the cation polymer fixative material on the medium printed by the ink-jet.
