PURPOSE: To measure simultaneously the direction, velocity and temp. of wind at the same local place in an air current, by detecting respectively the temperature of each electric heating wire at both sides cooled in accordance with the direction and velocity of the air current by each wind direction and velocity thermocouple and by detecting the temp. of the air current by a wind temp. thermocouple.

CONSTITUTION: In a connection circuit diagram 31 of a detecting body, the ends of thermocouple compensating wires 35, 36 made of alumel and chromel are connected separately to a termination of the leftside second support 11 made of alumel and a termination of the third support 32 made of chromel protruded from the bottom surface of a base body 2, and the other ends of both wires 35, 36 are insulated from each other and inserted into a thermostatic vessel 37 held at prescribed temp. lower than the wind temp. A wind pressure indicator 38 of a voltmeter measuring the thermoelectromotive voltage of the wind temp. thermocouple is connected between the ends of both wires 35, 36 in the vessel 37. The air current direction θ and velocity (V) are obtained from an indication E1 of a leftside voltmeter 26, an indication E2 of a rightside voltmeter 27 and a rotation angle of the detecting body 31. If the temp. of electric heating wire is measured on the basis of wind temp., the direction, velocity and temp. of wind can be measured simultaneously.
