Title:
DETECTING CIRCUIT FOR INSERTION OF SPRING PLUG
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05300549
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automatically detect whether a spring plug is inserted to a spring jack or not in a simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: A detecting pin pair 45 includes a 1st pin 45a connected to a power supply part (5V) via a 1st resistor R1 and a 2nd pin 45b connected to the ground via a 2nd resistor R2 and is not used for transmission of signals. This pair 45 is added to a spring jack 40. The potential information V0 on the pin 45b of the pair 45 is used as an insertion detecting signal which shows whether a spring plug is inserted to the jack 40 or not.
