Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect the movement correctly even in the case of a rapidly moving object by adding signals including movement information obtained from a difference signal between two frames between the adjacent frames. CONSTITUTION:A composite color television signal of an NTSC system inputted to an input terminal 1 is inputted to a frame memory 2 having a capacity of two frames, a signal delayed by two frame cycle is subtracted from the input signal in a substracter circuit 3 and an absolute value of the subtraction result is taken in an absolute value circuit 4. Then, it is inputted to the second frame memory 5 of a one frame capacity and added to the movement information before the one frame cycle in an additer circuit 6. Thereby, in an output terminal 7, in the case of the fast movement, even when the movement of the output of the absolute value circuit 4 cannot be detected, the movement can be detected in the preceding frame and by taking the sum of the two frames, the movement information can be extracted correctly.
