Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set the detecting section arbitrarily, by inputting the signals from two sensors, which are moved together between two end surfaces with an appropriate specified interval being kept, into an AND circuit, and detecting the output as a signal.
CONSTITUTION: A surface potential measuring probe 24 is provided between sensors 22 and 221. The detected signals of the sensor 22 and 221 are inputted into an AND circuit 23. The detecting section is made shorter than the length of a light sensitive drum 21. The detected section signal is inputted to a data processing device. Thus, the measurement of the effective potential of the section for obtaining the surface of the light sensitive drum can be performed.
