Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a detecting device for movable body displacement in which the magnetic resistance change ratio of a magnetic resistance element is high, and the positioning of the magnetic resistance element to a magnetizing surface is facilitated.
CONSTITUTION: The upper surface of a magnet rotated according to the rotation of a drive gear is alternately magnetized to S-pole and N-pole at equal angles from the center. An IC chip is arranged opposite to the magnetized surface of the magnet with a space. A magnetic resistance element is arranged on the IC chip. The magnetic resistance element is formed by alternately laminating a Co film 11 of magnetic layer having several &angst -several tens &angst and a Cu film 10 of nonmagnetic layer having several A-several tens A repeatedly.
