Title:
DETECTING DEVICE OF NUMBER OF ROTATIONS OF SHAFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01305332
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable inexpensive detection of the torque and the number of rotations of a rotating shaft in a small space by integrating a torque sensor and a rotation number sensor. CONSTITUTION:A pair of magnetic anisotropy elements 2 and 3 are formed on the outer peripheral surface of a rotating shaft 1 so that they form angles to the direction of the axis of the shaft. Changes in the permeability in the anisotropy elements 2 and 3 are detected by a pair of torque detecting coils 8 and 9 contained in a magnetic shield element 4 which is so disposed as to cover the outer peripheries of the shaft and the elements 2 and 3. Besides, a rotation number detecting coil 22 is wound on a yoke 18 for detecting the number of rotations, which is contained inside the shield element 4 and disposed so that the end parts thereof face the anisotropy elements 2 and 3. The coils 8 and 9 and the coil 22 are excited by coils 6 and 7 for excitation.
