Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a partial discharge detecting sensor which can be easily set in a power cable even after the installation of the cable and has a wide band of frequencies to detect a partial discharge generated in the power cable which the power cable is working.
CONSTITUTION: This partial discharge detecting sensor is constituted of a detecting electrode 2 set on a plastic sheath of a power cable 10, a fixed K-type filter 1 connected to the electrode 2 and an impedance matching transformer 3.
