Abstract:
To detect a residual winding yarn of a spinning cop winding tube with high reliability.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a detection device 23 which includes: a light source for irradiating a spinning cop winding tube 6 with light; an imaging device for creating a digital image of the spinning cop winding tube 6; and an evaluation device for evaluating the digital image. The detection device 23 has a reflector which reflects the light emitted by the light source which irradiates the spinning cop winding tube 6. and the evaluation device is configured to create evaluation of whether or not a remaining yarn is present on the spinning cop winding tube 6, and evaluation of which region of the spun cup winding tube 6 of the detected residual winding thread is located. The evaluation device can be connected to the control device for conveying the evaluation, and depending on this evaluation, the control device is configured to initiate a tube cleaning or a subsequent transport according to demand of the cop winding tube 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
