DETECTION OF BACTERIUM OF CAMPYLOBACTER SPECIES BY TARGETING CELL DISTENDING TOXIN

A

To provide a new method for detecting bacterium of Campylobacter species using cell distending toxin (cdt)gene.

The method uses multiplex PCR with primer sets that can multiply the cdt gene species-specifically to detect several kinds of bacterium of Campylobacter sp(Campylobacter jejuni, Campylobacter coli and Campylobacter fetus) at the same time with high specificity. When a domestic animal or human is mixedly infected by several kinds of bacterium of Campylobacter species, this method can identify the Campylobacter species at the species level by one operation.
