Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent catching clothes or skin of subject in a joining part of a coil member when it is put to a neck or a leg of subject.
SOLUTION: It is a detection coil for magnetic resonance imaging 100 that is possible to separate an upper coil member 10 and a bottom coil member 20 and becomes a ring shape in joining integrally. And a guard 27, 28 which is made of silicon rubber of the hardness Hs 80 is set on the joining part of the bottom coil member 20. As a cushioning action of a guard 27, 28 blocks the inserting of clothes or skin of subject to the joining part of the coil member 10, 20, it prevent catching cloth or skin of subject in a joining part of a coil member. When the bottom coil member 20 is dropped accidentally, the cushioning action of the guard 27, 28 absorbs the shock and prevents a breakdown of the bottom coil member 20.
