Abstract:
To provide a technique that can reduce manufacturing cost of a magnetic sensor and space in which the magnetic sensor is mounted when a detection object is detected by both a transmissive magnetic sensor and a reflective magnetic sensor.SOLUTION: A detection device includes: a first coil arranged at a position capable of generating magnetic flux passing through a detection range where a detection object is detected; a second coil arranged at a position capable of detecting the magnetic flux generated by the first coil and having passed through the detection range; an input unit connected to at least the first coil; and an output unit connected to the first coil and the second coil. The input unit excites the first coil to generate magnetic flux in a first state. The output unit causes the second coil to detect the magnetic flux in the first state and causes the first coil to detect magnetic flux.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
