This detection device comprises a door opening/closing detection switch 140 having a first body 143 and a leaf plate 142 and a latch switch 150 having a second body 151 and a second detection element 152. A case 153 covering the second body is disposed over the latch switch. A leaf plate cover part 154c so covering the moving area of the tilting leaf plate as to hold it in association with a base plate 10 and a holding means 158 for holding a first cable 144 are disposed in the case.
