Abstract:
To accurately identify an occurrence position of cavitation.SOLUTION: A detection device according to an embodiment is attached to a structure provided around a runner of a hydraulic machine, and detects occurrence of cavitation in the runner. The detection device comprises: a body part supported by the structure; a pressure receiving surface provided in the body part, and for receiving pressure waves caused by the cavitation; and a sensor provided in a portion different from the pressure receiving surface of the body part, and for detecting the pressure waves propagated from the pressure receiving surface. The detection device comprises an elastic member for causing the structure to support the body part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
