Abstract:
To provide a detection device and a detection method for detecting insulin in a short time with high sensitivity by a simple operation.
This detection device has a field effect transistor having a substrate, a source electrode and a drain electrode arranged on the substrate, a channel including an ultrafine fiber body (for example, a carbon nanotube) for connecting electrically the source electrode to the drain electrode, and a gate electrode for controlling a current flowing in the channel; and an anti-insulin antibody bonded to the field effect transistor.
