To provide a detection device for refrigerant leakage that calculates an excess liquid refrigerant amount in an excess-liquid-refrigerant storage container using an inexpensive detection device having high degree of installation freedom to detect refrigerant leakage, and to provide a refrigerating air conditioning device with the same.
The detection device for refrigerant leakage includes: a refrigerant amount calculation unit 3b that calculates a refrigerant amount except for the excess liquid refrigerant amount in an ACC 24, in a refrigerant circulating a refrigerant circuit; a resonance frequency detection sensor 25 that includes a vibrator 25b installed on the exterior of the ACC 24 and for vibrating the ACC 24 and a receiver 25c for detecting vibration of the ACC 24 vibrated by the vibrator 25b, and that detects a resonance frequency of the ACC 24 from a detection signal of the receiver 25c; an excess-liquid-refrigerant amount calculation unit 3c that calculates the excess liquid refrigerant amount in the ACC 24 on the basis of the result detected by the resonance frequency detection sensor 25; and a determination unit 3d that calculates the total refrigerant amount in the refrigerant circuit 10 from the results calculated by the excess-liquid-refrigerant amount calculation unit 3c and the refrigerant amount calculation unit 3b to determine presence of refrigerant leakage.
