In the device of road illumination lamp failure to detect failure of the road illumination lamp 6 equipped with MCCB2, an automatic blinking device 3, a stabilizer 4, and a lamp 5, this is equipped with a first voltage detection part 8 to detect output voltage of MCCB2, a second voltage detection part 9 to detect output voltage of the automatic blinking device 3, a third voltage detection portion 10 to detect output voltage of the stabilizer 4, a current detection portion 11 to detect a current flowing between the stabilizer 4 and the lamp 5, and a detection result output portion 12 to output respective detection results of the first and third voltage detection portions 8 or 10 and the current detection portion 11.
