Abstract:
To provide a detection device and a tire air pressure monitoring system which are capable of suppressing interference of a signal transmitted from a portable machine used for controlling locking/unlocking of a vehicle or the like with a signal transmitted by a detection device used to monitor a tire air pressure.SOLUTION: A detection device which, when a request signal is received, detects an air pressure of a tire installed on a vehicle and transmits an air pressure signal containing information about the detected air pressure comprises: a transmission part for continuously transmitting a prescribed signal when an increasing/decreasing speed of the air pressure of the tire is equal to or greater than a threshold value; a reception part for receiving a restriction signal for restricting transmission of the prescribed signal; and a control part which restricts transmission of the prescribed signal by the transmission part when the restriction signal is received by the reception part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
