Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a load calculating device which can obtain the load of a suspended load with a high precision, from the turning-up/down rope tension, in consideration of the difference between the actual value and the calculated value of the boom angle when a back stop spring starts deflection.
CONSTITUTION: The load of a suspended load is obtained by a calculation part 17, from the angle obtained by the angle detectors 13 and 14 and the turning-up/ down rope tension detected by a load detection part 12. At that time, if the boom angle on the start of the springy action of a back stop spring is detected, the suspended load is calculated by the calculation equation determined on the basis of the fact that the springy forrc of the back stop spring gives an influence on the turning-up/down rope tension. The boom angle on the start of the operation of the back stop spring is actually measured in advance, and the detected boom angle is compared successively with the actually measured value, and the start of the operation of the back stop spring is monitored.
