Abstract:
To judge accurately whether an automobile is stopped or running.
A gyroscope ('gyro') is installed on an automobile as a part of an automobile-loaded navigation system. The gyro outputs a voltage for showing an angular velocity of the automobile. A gyro output voltage for showing a zero angular velocity ('gyro zero voltage') is judged by a noise level of an output of the gyro. Namely, in the case that the noise level is below a prescribed value the automobile is judged as being stopped.
