Abstract:

To provide a detection method for efficiently growing resistant varieties by utilizing a detection method of resistance using DNA markers and allowing individuals resistant to potato disease and pest to be detected in DNA level and in a short period of time.

DNA markers are composed of primers for DNA marker detection linked with R3 genes expressed in the following specific sequence: a synthetic primer of 20 bases of "5'-TGCCAAATGACTTGTTTATC-3'" and a synthetic primer of 19 bases of "5'-CAAATATAACCTGTCGACG-3'"; or a synthetic primer of 20 bases of "5'-CTTCTCCTGTCATCTTGTTA-3'" and a synthetic primer of 19 bases of "5'-CAAATATAACCTGTCGACG-3'".
