Abstract:

To provide a method for simply detecting fluorination unsaturated hydrocarbon such as C5F8 and C4F6, and a detection sensor, enabling detection at near room temperatures without the use of high temperature and also eliminating interference by an obstructing gas from a fluorine-based liquid or the like.

There are provided a detection method for fluorination unsaturated hydrocarbon by optical changes using reaction with a compound having an imidazoline skeleton represented by a general formula (I), and a detection sensor for fluorination unsaturated hydrocarbon using a compound having an imidazoline skeleton represented by the general formula (I) in a detection part thereof.
