Abstract:
To reduce misdetection in a detection system that detects operation performed on a display device.SOLUTION: Provided is a detection system, comprising: a first projector for projecting infrared light to an operation area which is where operation is performed on a display device; a second projector for projecting infrared light to an area in the periphery of the operation area; a photodetector for receiving reflected light when light is projected by the first projector and reflected light when light is projected by the second projector; and a determination unit which, if the reflected light when light is projected by the second projector has a prescribed amount of received light, determines whether or not operation is performed on the display device in accordance with the received amount of light when light is projected by the second projector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
