Abstract:
To provide a system related to detection of a flame holding event in a turbine.
A turbine 10 to detect a flame holding event includes a combustion section 12 to receive a fluid from a compressor 11, to heat the fluid by combusting fuel to generate heat, and to output the heated fluid to a turbine section 13. The combustion section 12 includes a combustor 16 having a combustion chamber in which the fuel is combusted, and the combustion section having a sensor 17 to sense a static pressure within the combustion chamber. A combustion control device 20 detects a flame holding event in the combustion chamber based only on the sensed static pressure.
