PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multibeam detection system capable of reliable detection of the passage of an object with the restricted number of control light sources for use.SOLUTION: In the detection system, including a projector part 1 and a light receiver part 2, the projector part 1 at least includes: one light source 10 which generates a main light beam Fp; one first element 11 which includes a reflection zone 110, disposed to generate a first reflected light beam Fr1 from a first part Fp1 of the main light beam Fp, and an opening part 111 generated through the reflection zone 110 and disposed to pass a second part Fp2 of the main light beam Fp; and one second element 12 which includes a reflection zone 120 disposed to generate a second reflected light beam Fr2 from the second part Fp2 of the main light beam Fp.
