Title:
DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006105611
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a detector capable of detecting the electrical energy of a battery, when a function-attaining means is actuated, without operating the function-attaining means, in the detector for detecting the electrical energy of the battery used for an electronic device that includes the function-attaining means.

Electric power is supplied from the battery 2 to a load resistance circuit part 5, under a closed condition where a circuit including the battery 2 and the load resistance circuit part 5 is closed by a switch part 7. The electrical energy of the battery under the condition, where the electric power is supplied to an operation part 8, is detected without attaining the a function of the operation part 8, by supplying the electric power to the load resistance circuit part 5, without supplying the electric power to the operation part 8. The function of the operation part 8 is determined as being attained, without supplying the electric power to the operation part 8, since whether required electric power necessary for attaining the function of the operation part 8 is remained is determined by a load control block 6, based on the detected result of a voltage monitoring part 3.
