Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cleaning composition for removing foreign matter from vegetables, the cleaning composition including (A) a nonionic surfactant represented by formula (a), and (B) one or more types of fatty acid or a salt thereof selected from a group consisting of a fatty acid having 8 to 24 carbon atoms or a salt thereof. R-O-[(EO)x/(AO)y]-H (a) [In formula (a), R is a linear or branched alkyl group having 8 to 24 carbon atoms, a linear or branched alkylene group having 8 to 24 carbon atoms, or an alkyl aryl group having 8 to 24 carbon atoms. EO is an oxyethylene group, and x is a number from 1 to 30 that represents an averaged repeating number of EO. AO is an oxyalkylene group having 3 to 4 carbon atoms, and y is a number from 1 to 20 that represents an averaged repeating number of AO. [(EO)x/(AO)y] indicates that EO and AO may be block polymerized or randomly polymerized, and EO and AO may be in any order.]
