Abstract:
To obtain a detergent improved in dispersing capability, in capability of dispersing solid particles under the condition of low temperature or high hardness, and in detergency against dirt such as mud or carbon black.
The detergent essentially comprises an acrylic acid (salt)-maleic acid (salt) copolymer and an alkyl-long-chain intermediate-chain branched surfactant compound and has a clay dispersing capability of 0.3 or higher under the condition of 50 ppm calcium carbonate. The detergent has an improved capability of dispersing solid particles and an improved detergency against dirt due to mud or carbon black.
