Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deteriorated state estimating device and a deteriorated state estimating method for the device that estimate with little power consumption for each cell in a battery module mounted on a power storage device.SOLUTION: A deteriorated state estimating device for batteries causes secondary cells charged to the highest chargeable voltage to start electric power discharging, measures the discharged voltage within a pre-determined time range after the passage of time taken for transient response accompanying charge transfer in the secondary cells, and estimates the deteriorated state of a battery from at least one of the estimated values including those of the remaining capacity, charging/discharging efficiency and plateau end point capacity by using the differential voltage between the acquired discharge voltage and the highest chargeable voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
