Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent errosion, scintillation, tracking, etc., from occurring at a long-rod insulator part under high electric field by setting the setting position, thickness, and central radius of a shield ring to meet specific conditions.
CONSTITUTION: Fixing rod part 12 of a shield ring 10 is secured to a terminal metal 4 at a polymer long-rod insulator part 5. Distance hxmm between a fixed point of the fixing rod part 12 and the shield ring 10, i.e., the setting position of the shield ring 10, length h0mm of the terminal metal 4, radius D1 at the umbrella part 51 of the insulator part 5, central diameter D2 of the shield ring 10, and thickness (d) of the shield ring 10 (i.e., diameter of a ring body 11) are set to meet following relationships; 0.5h0≤hx300mm+h0, 1.2<D2/D1≤5, 2.5≤D2/d≤10. This structure prevent deterioration of polymer long-rod insulator part under high electric field.
