Abstract:
To provide a technique that determines oil leakage in an oil pressure system of a valve gear of an exhaust valve of a marine two-cycle engine with improved accuracy.SOLUTION: A determinator acquires a compression pressure, which is a cylinder internal pressure when a piston in a cylinder lies at a top dead center, and at least one out of at least one state value of a first group which denies the possibility of oil leakage in an oil spring and at least one state value of a second group which affirms the possibility of oil leakage. When a difference between the compression pressure and a predetermined compression pressure reference exceeds a predetermined compression pressure threshold, the possibility of oil leakage is determined to be lower as the state value of the first group is greater and/or the possibility of oil leakage is determined to be higher as the state value of the second group is greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
