Abstract:
To provide a determination device capable of accurately determining a cause of clogging that has occurred in a fuel filter without heating fuel by using a heater.SOLUTION: A determination device 10 includes: a clogging determination section 11 determining whether or not clogging has occurred in a fuel filter 140; a cause determination section 12 determining whether the cause of the clogging that has occurred is precipitated wax or foreign matters mixed with the fuel; and a flow rate determination section 13 determining whether a flow rate of fuel passing through the fuel filter 140 is in a large flow rate state where the flow rate is larger than a predetermined flow rate or in a small flow rate state where the flow rate is the predetermined flow rate or smaller. The cause determination section 12 determines a cause of the clogging that has occurred on the basis of both of a determination result obtained by the clogging determination section 11 and a determination result obtained by the flow rate determination section 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
