DETERMINATION METHOD OF IRON AND STEEL SLUG AND METHOD FOR PREDICTING ITS SOLIDIFIED STATE

Abstract:

To provide a means for determining iron and steel slug to be used according to operating environments and purposes when iron and steel slug is used as a sand covering material or a back-filling material.

An arranging location of a sand covering material or a back-filling material is determined (S101). Iron and steel slug to be used is temporarily determined (S102). In the case that the sand covering material or the back-filling material made of temporarily determined iron and steel slug is arranged at the arranging location, the state of solidification is predicted on the basis of at least either the concentration of hydroxyl group ions or the concentration of calcium ions in pore water of the iron and steel slug at the arranging location (S103) to determine whether the predicted state of solidification is in a desired state or not (S104). In the case that it is not in the desired state (No in S105), the evaluation of the temporarily determined iron and steel slug is repeated until the desired state of solidification is achieved.
