In a method in which the metallic sodium is added to oil containing the organic halogen compound, and the organic halogen compound and the metallic sodium are made to react, and the organic halogen compound is performed with dehalogenation; the metallic sodium and a dispersion medium are supplied to an extruder of a heater heating type, the metallic sodium is dispersed in the dispersion medium while being melted to be emulsion by the extruder, and the emulsion of the metallic sodium is added to the oil containing the organic halogen compound.
