Abstract:
To provide a developer amount regulating member which is easily managed in terms of the dimensional accuracy, easily manufactured, and also, stabilized in terms of a contact pressure, dispensing with a complicated mechanism.
The developer amount regulating member comprises a non-rotating elastic member with a curved face and a holding member for fixing the end part of the elastic member, the curved surface of the elastic member comes in contact with a developer carrier. The curvature radius of the curved surface is within an extent of >0.5 mm and <400 mm.
